We featured Vikas Shah, creator of the Thought Economics interview series, and author of the book of the same name — who discussed the nature of innovation and how it has changed in the ‘new era’.

We also had two tech entrepreneurs who hail from opposite sides of the world but decided to establish their centres of international operations in the UK: Cole Knuth of Pax8 (Denver HQ) and Russ Cohn of OCR Labs (Sydney HQ).

We also had an update from Mike Jackson, Entrepreneur Success Director at TECH NATION who outlined the impact of lockdown on the startup community and how his organisation’s growth programmes can help.

The session also featured a discussion on internationalisation, funding and legal perspectives — featuring Davey Brennan, Partner & Co-Chair of Global Tech at Gowling WLG (UK); Roland Emmans, Head of Technology Sector at HSBC; and Ben McClure, the Venture Capitalist.
